An extremely rainy day, soggy as can be. Sally Gunnell, Gavin Hastings Sir Moir Lockhead of First Group are early risers, assisting and contributing to the ultimate cause of the First monster event, Save The Children.

With around 1000 eager and fit competitors, the Monster Challenge proved a success in raising the much needed cash for the cause of the day, along with raising awareness for the Save The Children charity.

Shown are former 400m hurdler Sally Gunnell, former Scottish Rugby champion Gavin Hastings, the girls from the Scottish Sun newspaper, and the mascot of the event, the monster!

Much of the course skirted around the forests of stunning Loch Ness.
