Scotty Lago was on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about the controversial medal kissing photo. Scotty Lago believed that he was set up because a similar incident happened to Michael Phelps.

Scotty Lago got in trouble after winning a bronze medal in halfpipe snowboarding. A photo of Lago and a supposed female fan surfaced, which alarmed the US Olympic Committee and the US Ski and Snowboard Association.

Scotty Lago appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and explained what happened. Scott Lago told Jimmy Kimmel that a friend of Michael Phelps recognized the women in the photo. Michael Phelps said he was once approached by a an Asian female who identified herself as a reporter, and tried to make out with him. From that testimony, Scotty Lago believed he was set up by the same woman.
