Sebastian Janikowski Nailed a 63-Yard Field Goal During The Raiders Sep. 12, 2011 Monday Night Football Match Against the Broncos. Here is the Video

Sebastian Janikowski tied the record for longest field goal during the September 12, 2011 game between the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders kicker blasted a 63-yard field goal near the end of the first half, tying the mark set by Tom Dempsey and Jason Elam.

Of course, it probably helped that Janikowski attempted the 63-yard field goal in the thin air of Denver just as Elam did several years ago. Regardless, it's an impressive play.

Dempsey made his kick in New Orleans. More amazingly, he did it with half a foot. For more on Tom Dempsey's story, check out this profile by Michael Lewis.

The field goal proved to be the difference as the Raiders went on to beat the Broncos by a score of 23-20 .
