Sepp Blatter faces FIFA ethics inquiry

The governing body of world football FIFA has opened ethic proceedings against the organizations’ president, Sepp Blatter. FIFA opened similar proceedings against Mohamed Bin Hammam, the man challenging him for the presidency of the organization earlier this week. It is hard to see that this is anything other than a watershed moment for FIFA. For years it has faced allegation of corruption, insufficient transparency and it feels like at last the dam is breaking up around. This actually is the time for FIFA to clean up its act.
