Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi recent interview after his return from India has created much hype in Indian media because it showed the Indians their real face. Indian media as usual being biased strongly criticized Afridi words about Indian attitude.

In an interview Afridi said "Indians are not as gracious as Muslims and Pakistanis and they can never be so". Afridi also criticized Indian media saying" Indian media approach is negative and it is hard to keep good relations with India for long time. We had done friendship with India several times in past 60 years but it never got went on to take the shape of policy”.

Afridi said” We all know a third country never allow us to better our mutual relations and that third country is always there to stop us from making permanent friendship”. Afridi praised Pakistani media saying” We often criticize our media but it is 100 times better than Indian media and Indian media has played a dirty role in worsening the Pak-India mutual relations”.

Afridi also criticized the statements of Interior minister Rehaman Malik and Indian player Goutam Ghambir. Goutam had said prior to final that he want to dedicate the world cup win to the innocent killed in Mumbai attacks on Nov, 26 2008. Afridi responded that he never expected this political statement from a player as no one knows who carried out the drama of Nov, 26.

On this Indian attitude only it can be said that facts are always bitter and it is up to you whether you accept them or criticize them.
