Forbes has named US snowboarder Shaun White and South Korean skater Kim Yu-Na as top-earning athletes who will be participating in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Both athletes have winning titles, and are Olympic competitors with around $8 million each to their name.

US Snowboarder Shaun White continues to make a name for himself with his recent gold medal win at the Winter X Games in Colorado. He even has his own halfpipe in the back country of Silverton, Colorado from his sponsor Red Bull. Last year, the 23-year-old athlete made $7.5 million from deals with Red Bull, Burton, Ubisoft and AT&T. White is one of the top-earning athletes to attend the Vancouver 2010 games. He will be ompeting in the Halfpipe category for snowboarding.

Last year 23-year-old White pocketed $7.5 million from the likes of snowboard-maker Burton, Red Bull, Target ( TGT - news - people ), goggle-maker Oakley ( OO - news - people ), game-maker Ubisoft and AT&T ( T - news - people ), making him one of the highest-earning athletes appearing at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Kim Yu-Na is another top-earning Olympic athlete. She is a skater from Korea with titles of World Champion, Four Continents Champion, and Grand Prix Champion. It is Yu-Na's triple triple combinations in skating that make her a top-ranking competitor. She has made $150,000 in prize money from her winning titles, and another $7.5 million from sponsors such as Nike and Hyundai in Korea. She has her own Yu-Na Haptic style Samsung phone. Yu-Na will be competing in the Ladies' Singles category for skating at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver this month.
