Reebok Canada Have Offered $10K as a Reward for Sidney Crosby's Olympic Gear

Sidney Crosby's gold medal game gloves and stick are still missing from last Sunday's gold medal game against team USA, and now Reebok Canada have announced that they are offering a $10K reward for the safe return of the gear with no questions asked.

Crosby's gloves and stick that are missing are the same ones he scored the winning goal with against U.S. goaltender Ryan Miller.

If anyone who has the gear wants to return it they can collect the reward and they will not be questioned said Reebok Canada.

It is not known exactly how Crosby's gloves and stick were taken, and the Vancouver police have been reviewing security tapes from the game, but it is thought that someone took his gear when the gates were opened after the goal was scored and anyone could come on to the ice.

There has not been a formal investigation launched however.

If the missing gear is returned to Sidney Crosby he will be able to decide whether to keep them or to donate them to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

This is not the first time Sidney Crosby's gear has gone missing:

In 2005, the Cole Harbour, N.S., native's jersey went missing after Canada's gold-medal win over Russia at the world junior hockey championship in Grand Forks, N.D.

The jersey was later found in a mailbox outside a post office in Lachute, Que.
