NP Rank:
Snow closes ski resort - Cairngorm Mountain nr Aviemore Scotland
March 2010, springtime, heavy rain showers, snow and high winds batter Britain.
Scotlands ski resorts are in the perfect position to take advantage of the freak weather conditions which create some fluffy runs.
Cairngorm Mountain near Aviemore Scotland, the town built around the outdoor industry, is closed due to snow.
Plouging the heavy drifts, the hardy workers on the Cairngorm Mountain work tirelessly to get the various ski runs open for punters, but the weather has taken over, its man against nature as the great mountain is covered blanketed in a storm.
If the stormy weather slows and man is hungry for success, the spectacular runs of the 4000 Metre High mountain will be open once again. For now the snow gates are closed, wild nature to one side and man hungry for a day on the piste on the other.
