South African President Jacob Zuma’s opening speech of the World Football Cup was touching. He said “Africa is the origin of mankind, welcome to your home”. Same touching speech was from Nelson Mandela during his presidential ceremony as the first black leader in South Africa. Mandela said, “forget about the past, project the future”!

Yes, Jacob Zuma is right as there is no human ancestor found elsewhere in the world than Africa. We recall ‘Ardi’ Ramidus a 4.4 million years and ‘Lucy’ a 4 million years old human fossil found in Ethiopia.

Actually sport is not only sport but also socio-political phenomena as it has the power of creating friendship among countries and peoples of the world. Transferring such impressive message like Jacob Zuma on such worldwide events (sport) is even more powerful to creating friendship and belongingness to peoples of the world.

I like leaders of such kind!
