The world's top ranked tennis player Rafael Nadal has led Spain to a 2-0 lead over the US. Nadal beat American Sam Querrey in a surprisingly difficult four-set win--6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-3, 6-4. Meanwhile, fellow Spaniard David Ferrer beat Andy Roddick 7-6 (5), 2-6, 1-6, 6-4, 8-6.
