SPORTS HUT WEEK 12 NFL PICKS (Part One)

Alright. Here we are already
headed into week 12 of the NFL season, and it's time for me to make my
picks. For the past several weeks I have been doing a small picking
competition with my sister and her husband. I don't have their picks
for this week yet, but will post them when I get them. Here are my
picks for the Thursday games for week 12 along with a short explanation
to accompany each one. Make sure to send me your picks as well if you
would like me to post them on the blog and enter you into the
competition!

Thursday, November 22, 2007:

***Green Bay (9-1) @ Detroit(6-4)--12:30PM: Like I said in my power rankings, Brett Favre and company seem to get better
each week rather than showing the usual signs of fatigue you would
normally see. Its going to be a long day for Detroit, even if it IS at
home.

Pick: Green Bay Packers

***New York Jets (2-8) @ Dallas Cowboys (9-1)--4:15PM: Another
relatively easy pick I would say. The Jets are truly in shambles, and
will be going on the road against what appears to be one of the most
well-oiled Cowboys team in some time. Dallas has got everything
clicking on offense, and have to believe we wont a change in that
anytime soon, at least not this week!

Pick: Dallas Cowboys

***Indianapolis Colts (8-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (3-7)--8:15PM: Just
checked the Indianapolis injury-report and all though they are missing
a couple starters, all systems appear to be a go. The Colts have had a
rough few weeks, but I think they can get themselves back on the big
board with a win in Atlanta this week. You can bank on it.
