Stanford Has Gotten Rid of Its Courses of Interest List Which Many Considered an Easy Courses List. Here are the Stanford 'Easy Class' List

A media report has unearthed a so-called Stanford 'Easy Class' list that was distributed to athletes.

The Stanford Easy Class List describes 40 courses such as "Beginning Improvising," "Sleep and Dreams" and “Social Dances of North America III”. The list, which is officially titled "Courses of Interest" was produced by the Athletic Academic Resource Center and handed out to Stanford student-athletes.

Stanford officials said that the Courses of Interest list was not intended to highlight easy classes.

Stanford officials said the list was designed to accommodate athletes’ demanding schedules and disputed that the list was made up of easy courses. Officials discontinued the list last week after student reporters working for California Watch began asking about it.

Still, it's been reported that athletes considered the list to consist of easy classes that didn't involve a lot of work.

The easy class list is in Comic Sans. It's what you'd call "the smoking gun".
