Photos from June 15: Vancouver Shuts Down for Stanley Cup Final

I just stepped out to ~~stake out a table at a sports bar~~ take some photos of downtown Vancouver on Game Day. It's the last game of the Stanley Cup finals, to be played on home turf. Vancouver fans are out in droves.

Downtown is more crowded than during the Olympics. Nobody's at work. Everybody's in hockey jerseys and costumes. Seriously, don't drive downtown: traffic is a mess. Every bar has a queue out the door. Crap. I guess I'd better get back to work.

Anyway, if Vancouver loses, at least everyone will be conveniently located for the riot. Actually, some stores (like this American Apparel store on Robson) are taking the threat of a riot very seriously.
