In a statement to Life & Style, Steve Nash described the birth of Matteo Nash as "a bittersweet moment".

Married in 2005, South African-born Steve Nash and Paraguay-born Alejandra Amarilla have been together for nine years.

The couple has been together for nine years. They also have six-year-old twin daughters Lola and Bella.
Nash, a point guard for the Phoenix Suns, is a two-time National Basketball Association most valuable player.
