Exciting MotoGp season ahead

Ducati's Casey Stoner overcame a wrist injury to win at his home track on the MotoGP tour. How much can a wrist injury affect one's motorcycling? A lot.

Stoner, who is to have surgery to fix a broken bone in his wrist at the end of the season, led from start to finish on his Ducati to beat world champion Valentino Rossi and American Nicky Hayden.

The Ducati star never looked threatened during the 27-lap race and left the 50,541-strong crowd to cheer him home for his second win at the track.

"It's just good to see Australians are enjoying motorcycle racing," Stoner said yesterday.

Nicole Billard is a fan of both Stoner and Valentino Rossi... the inner turmoil must be fierce at the moment.
