Stop Larry Johnson Online Petition: Where to Sign Online Petition
It seems that a lot of Kansas City Chiefs fans have had enough of running back Larry Johnson. A group of fans have started an online petition imploring the team to bench Larry Johnson before he becomes the team's all-time leading rusher.
Fans are hoping that Larry Johnson, who was recently suspended for making a homophobic slur on Twitter among other things, is on the verge of surpassing former Chiefs RB Priest Holmes as the team's all-time leading rusher.
A group of fans is hoping to convince the team that they should bench Johnson to prevent him from entering the pantheon of Chiefs greats.
We are asking you, as fans of this team, this organization, and of the pride that this city has in the Chiefs, please deactivate Larry Johnson. Please do not let his name sit atop the all-time rushing leaders in Kansas City Chiefs history. He needs a mere 80 yards to surpass Priest. He doesn’t deserve that opportunity. He has never represented anything close to the values that we have for our Chiefs and it would be another dagger to the fans that continue to support this proud franchise.
If you agree, you can sign the Stop Larry Johnson petition here.

Larry johson has the same right to free speech as any American. I do not agree with what he said but I hope he and the management of the Kansas City Chiefs stands up for his right to say whatever he wants. Censorship of free speech has become a much larger problem in this country than so called hate speech. How would the organizers of this petition respond if they were not allowed to post their petition. They did to practice the credo "if someone wants to be an idiot get out of their way"

Its not about free speech, it's about his actions, he is an overpaid turd

Of course he has the right to free speech. The petition is not calling for his arrest. "Free Speech" doesn't mean you can say anything you want with absolutely no consequences. He is a public person and made a public statement via Twitter, not in a private conversation, and there are consequences to his actions. If Clay Aiken called someone a N**ger on his Twitter account do you think people would have a right to react the same way?

I could care less what Larry Johnson says... he does have the right to free speech. He also has the right to act like an idiot...something of which he has demonstrated repeatedly. He has voiced his choice before to get out of KC and the fans are simply agreeing with him...Let him go or make him go... just get rid of him!
