Jon Azpiri, thanks for getting this story out so quickly. It will now show up on the home page for four hours. If new developments justify it, I'll renew this flag for another cycle.

It's Feb. 1, 2009, and Super Bowl 43 is underway and the Pittsburgh Steelers are facing the Arizona Cardinals. Check in here for Superbowl coverage and comment on the biggest game of the year.
After a lengthy Super Bowl anthem by Jennifer Hudson, the Arizona Cardinals won the coin toss and chose to have Pittsburgh receive the ball first.
1st Quarter
-The Cards are probably regretting giving the Steelers the ball first. After a quick run play, Big Ben Roethlisberger hit Hines Ward for a big reception. Right now, it the Cardinals appear to be outclassed.
-It just took just five minutes and the Steelers appear to have a touchdown. Roethlisberger sprinted towards the end zone when he ran into a Cardinals player. Fortunately, Ben's team Justin Hartwick grabbed him and shoved him into the end zone. Phoenix is challenging the play.
-Upon further review, as they say, the touchdown play was overturned, forcing the Steelers to kick the field goal. Steelers 3-0
-After a quick possession by the Cardinals, the Steelers have slowly marched down the field. The Steelers defense may be vaunted, but they haven't even been on the field.
2nd quarter
-Another Pittsburgh touchdown. Gary Russell punches it in for the score. The Steelers have had the ball for 12.5 minutes while the Cards have had just five plays.
-For those who aren't big football fans, the guy coaching the Pittsburgh Steelers is Mike Tomlin, not Omar Epps.
-We have a game. The Cards marched down the field after a big reception by Anquan Boldin. It seems like he's over his beef with offensive coordinator Todd Haley. Steelers 10-7
-Props to Steelers LaMarr Woodley for his cool tattoo of Wolverine from the X-Men. Odds are, the tattoo is a shout-out to his alma mater, the University of Michigan.
-We have our first turnover and it wasn't forced by the best defense in the league. Roethlisberger's pass was deflected and intercepted by Karlos Dansby
-Now that's a momentum changer. James Harrison intercepts a pass from Kurt Warner at his own goal line and runs it all the way. Clearly, Harrison isn't used to running that far and he lay on the field for a while before heading to the oxygen tank on the sidelines. Al Michaels says, "James Harrison runs like Brown." Wha???
Halftime
-Bruce Springsteen came out on stage and expended as much energy as James Harrison did on his touchdown run. He implored us to put down our guacamole and chicken fingers and watch him jump around the stage. The highlight was watching the Boss slide across the stage and into a camera, giving him about as many tackles as Troy Polamalu.
3rd Quarter
-Yet another contested player. Kurt Warner coughs up the ball on third down for what appear to be a fumble. The Cards ask for a review and the played is ruled an incomplete pass instead of a fumble.
-The NBC broadcast cuts to a shot of the greatest player in Arizona Cardinals history: Rod Tidwell aka Cuba Gooding Jr.
-The Cardinals defense commits three huge penalties, keeping the Steelers drive alive. The coup de grace was when the Cards roughed the holder during a field goal attempt. Seriously, when was the last time you saw someone rough the holder?
-We have a game again. Larry Fitzgerald finally has an impact, making two key catches including one for the touchdown.
-Troy Polamalu has become one of the most recognizable players in the NFL thanks to his flowing dark hair. But having long hair in football does have a downside.
-The Cardinals scored a rare safety after Steelers lineman Justin Hardwick committed a holding penalty in his own end zone. Steelers 20-16
-Larry Fitzgerald finds a huge hole down the middle and scores a huge touchdown. The Cardinals take the lead for the first time in the game with 2:36 left in the fourth quarter. Cardinals 23-16
-What a play! Santonio Holmes, he of the infamous shower photo, grabbed a ball in the end zone and managed to get two foot inbounds. Steelers 27-23
-Kurt Warner is pressured by the Steelers even though the Steelers are using a three-man rush. He fumbles the ball. The Steelers recover. Game over.
Final Score: 27-23
The Pittsburgh Steelers become the first NFL team to win six Super Bowls.
NFL great Joe Namath presented the Steelers with the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Nice to see that he's recovered from his infamous Suzy Kolber interview.

I can not believe that the officials didn't take that Warner fumble to the booth. That is an insult to the NFL.

It would have been better if Arizona had won.
