Surfing in Canada - evade logs, dodge rocks, elude sea lions.

We were a fair ways out from the point now and I was riding a wave in when I looked down and saw jagged rocks less than 6 inches below the surface of the water.  There was a graveyard of logs, drift wood and debris floating around covering the top of water.

There was a storm the night before and the surf was still quite something to see. we walked the Wild Pacific Trail and it was quite spectacular. On the way back I noticed a fishing boat heading out from Ucluelet and thought they must be "mad" to head out in that.
