The ICC World Twenty20 2012 Points Table will be updated here as 12 teams look to take on each other in the tournament that begins in Sri Lanka from September 18.

The 12 teams will be divided into four groups of three sides each, with the top two going through to the next stage in the competition. There will be four different groups and hence, we will have the points table for each of these four groups.

Group A has India, England and Afghanistan. Group B has Australia, West Indies and Ireland, Group C consists of Sri Lanka, South Africa and Zimbabwe while Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand will be a part of Group D.

At the end of the 12 first round matches, the top eight teams will make it to the Super Eight stage, where the sides will again be divided into two groups of four each. We will update you with the World T20 2012 Super Eights points table as well below.
