Four members of Taft High School boys volleyball team have been suspended amid allegations of a hazing ritual involving sex toys.

In addition, six staff members at the Taft High School were transferred to new posts for failing to report the hazing in a timely manner. Taft high school principal Sharon Thomas and volleyball coach Arman Mercado were among those assigned to administrative jobs.

While school officials have not revealed the exact nature of the hazing, it is believed that several team members were forced to perform suggestive acts with a sex toy.

Hazing is a misdemeanor crime in California. No arrests have been made in connection with the Taft High School hazing.
