Tag Heuer-The Knights Of Time-Advertising Campaign 2009

Swiss watch company, Tag Heuer has officially dropped Tiger Woods as the face of the luxury watch brand. The company CEO announced that Woods will not be featured in the brand's upcoming advertisements in a statement to Swiss paper Le Matin today, "We recognize Tiger Woods as a great sportsman but we have to take account of the sensitivity of some consumers in relation to recent events."

Known for their sports watches, Tag Heuer chose Woods for both his savvy as a sportsman as well as his formerly-unscathed personal life but with his recent transgressions the brand felt it best to end his time as the face of the company.

Woods has already lost a number of his corporate sponsorships including his Gatorade partnership, Accenture spokesmanship, and his prominence in Gillette advertisements; Nike remains by their million dollar man's side though.
