Scores of angry Tennessee football fans took to the streets once news came that coach Lane Kiffin was leaving Tennessee to take over coaching duties at USC. While the Lane Kiffin protests fell short of being a full-blown riot, there was plenty of anger on display as Vols fans chanted, burned a mattress ,and generally cursed the day that Lane Kiffin was born.

Here's what one witness of the Lane Kiffin riot had to say.

According to Woolridge there were riots, tear gas, SWAT, fire trucks, and mobs of people shouting "F*** You, Kiffin" at the top of their lungs

One video showed fans running down a street during the Tennessee football riots. Here's an explanation of what happened via Deadspin.

I now can explain the odd youtube video of all the students running in one particular direction. That was the direction of the parking lot where Kiffin's care was parked. We were all trying to block it in. Needless to say, we didn't get there in time, and failed. So instead we're taking piles of the "It's Time" shirts with Lane Kiffin's face on the back and burning them hah.

Several fans have also taken to YouTube to post angry tirades against their former coach. One video from a man named BigVolDaddy features a profanity-laced tirade against Lane Kiffin.
