The Tennessee Titans remain the NFL's only undefeated team after defeating the Green Bay Packers 19-16 in Week 9 of the NFL season. The Titans continue to defy the odds, moving to an 8-0 record. What's more surprising is that they've done it with veteran quarterback Kerry Collins rather than former starter Vince Young.

The Titans got the narrow victory thanks to an overtime field goal by Rob Bironas. The kick proved to be sweet redemption for Bironas, who had missed a 47-yard attempt at the end of regulation time.

In the overtime session, the Titans won the toss and quickly marched 55 yards down the field to give Bironas a second chance.

The Titans won despite the fact that Green Bay gained more offensive yards: 390 to Tennessee's 347. But as they have done all season, the Titans defense managed to make big plays when necessary, sacking Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers four times and forcing two turnovers.

Looking forward, the Titans will face the always tough Chicago Bears in Week 10 of the NFL season. After that, they fact the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, and Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. The team's biggest challenge will come at the end of the regular season when the face the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 21 and the Indianapolis Colts on December 28.

Been a fan of Vince Young since College. I hope he comes back mentally stronger next year.

This picture is of Vince Young and is was not the quarterback at the Titans Packers game. Kerry Collins has been the starting quarterback for the past 4-5 games. I have added pics of Kerry Collins recently against the Colts game on flkr.

This photo of Vince Young was taken in the season opener against Jacksonville Jaguars here at Nashville. This, so far, is the only game Young actually has played in this season due to an injury and the inspiring play of backup QB Kerry Collins. Collins, steadfast leadership, two great running backs in LenDale White and Chris Johnson, and the NFL's premier defense this season has enabled the TITANS to achieve a 9-0 start, the only in franchise history.
