Tennis 2009 French Open Final: Federer VS Soderling Schedule

The 2009 French Open Final at Roland-Garros schedule time is set for Sunday June 7th starting at 9am ET.
Roger Federer will face Robin Soderling in the French Open Finals as they both prevailed in a grueling five set match to defeat Juan Del Portro and Fernando Gonzalez.
Roger Federer is trying to become the sixth man in history to complete the Tennis Grand Slam with wins at the Australian Open, US Open, Wimbledon, and the French Open. With a victory on Sunday, Federer will also tie Pete Sampras for the most Grand Slam titles at 14.
Soderling has already taken out the number one seed King of Clay in Nadal and is hoping to beat out Federer the number two seed to capture the French Open Title.

The 2009 French Open at Roland-Garros is well under way with upsets in both the men and the women side of the action.
In the third round of the men's side, Roger Federer recovered from a shaky first set to beat Paul-Henri Mathieu 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-4.
The biggest upset in the third round and in the 2009 French Open is fourth seed Novak Djokovic losing to the twenty-ninth seed Phillipp Kohlschreiber in straight sets, 4-6, 4-6, 4-6.
However, notables such as Roger Federer, Juan Del Portro, Andy Roddick, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Gilles Simon are all moving on to the fourth round.
In the Women's side of the 2009 French Open, there are a lot more upsets than the men. The fourth and third seeds Elena Dementieva and Venus Williams were both defeated on the Clay courts of the French Open.
Maria Sharapova is making her comeback from shoulder injury and the unseeded Sharapova is moving pass the third round with her three-set victory over Yaroslava Shvedova 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
Top Seeds Serena Williams, Jelena Jankovic, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Ana Ivanovic, and the top seed, Dinara Safina are all moving on to the fourth round.
The match everyone is hoping to see is Rafael Nadal vs. Roger Federer in the Finals of the French Open. Federer still looking for his first win at the French Open to complete the career Grand Slam has Rafael Nadal, the King of Clay, standing in his way. The tennis world is awaiting for the dream final of Nadal and Federer.

Yes, but I really want Federer to win it. How disappointing would it be if Federer fails to complete the grand slam. Arguably the best tennis player of all time and cant win the French Open.
He has his chance this Sunday. Hope he'll capitalize.
