Well playing in a bad confrence doesnt mean you are a bad team. TCU is a good football team and i will give them credit where it is due. They did a heck of a job. I'll admit i thought that wisconsin was going to be unstoppable. TCU also did have a better rank than wisconsin so its not such a huge shocker. I dont pay very much attention to college football as i do to the NFL.

At gunpoint, the Rose Bowl accepted a representative from the great unwashed. Texas Christian University will appear on college football’s most prestigious stage. Hitler was still in power the last time a school with such a plebeian pedigree was permitted to grace this field on New Year’s Day. It’s a great day for equality, though the matchup it created is less than ideal.

TCU has a lithe, fast defense with complex blitz packages. Gary Patterson’s unit is tailored to combat the great spread offenses. Instead they face Wisconsin, a team running the anti-spread. Wisconsin will compress the field as much as possible and press home their physical advantage. It is a clash of forces, but power will always trump speed on a compact field.

While TCU did good, Wisconsin really showed they beat themselves. Poor time management. And that missed field goal. Not taking anything away from Texas Christian University but Wiscy could've won at so many points in the game. What a shame. Also, yes more attention needs to be paid to these schools.
