What better way to start a marriage than to act like a fool on TV. That's what one genius groom did during the Texas Rangers vs Seattle Mariners game on April 5, 2011.

A young couple named Matt and Taylor were being interviewed by Jim Knox of Fox Sports Southwest about their upcoming wedding at the ballpark.

Here's what they had to say:

Knox: You guys are getting married at the ballpark tomorrow morning. Matt, how does it feel?

Matt: Uh, it's gonna be the worst day of my life.

Knox: Really? Wow, uh, you're gonna get some good remarks [sic?] for that one. Why the ballpark, Taylor?

Taylor: This is actually my first time here, and we're really huge sports fans, so we decided this couldn't be a better place.

Taylor points to a bunch of sweaty dudes around him.

Matt: And these are my group, right here are my boys.

Knox: Maybe not after tonight, but here's the shirt, here's the hat. Congratulations. Progressive Fan of the Game. Way to go, Matt. Way to go, Taylor.

So let's imagine went down prior to their ballpark wedding.

Taylor: You know, getting married in a stadium that smells of stale beer and urine was not my dream, but if it means that much to you, I'll do it.

Matt: That's great, honey. To thank you for this loving compromise, I will publicly humiliate you on Fox Southwest.
