Tiger Returns to the coveted # 1 Spot
He's back and he's comfortable but not content. As Tiger won the Arnold Palmer Invitational for the 8th time, he also tied a record with the great Sam Snead who won the Greater Greensboro Open eight times from 1938 to 1965. Tiger commented on how his health was a big factor. Woods was last in the rankings in 2010. His #1 ranking is nothing to be comfortable with however as the person he replaced, Rory Mcllroy, could rebound back to the top spot at the Houston Open which concludes on Easter, March 31st 2013. Tiger's next stop is Augusta Nationals, April 11-14, 2013, where he will compete again with Rory Mcllroy as well as crowd favorites like Sergio Garcia, ERnie Els, PAdraig Harrington, , Phil Mickelson , Vijay Singh, Y.E. Yang and Steve Stricker. The world will be watching to see if this is a fluke or if Tiger can maintain his spot at the top.
