A Photo of Tiger Woods at the Ryder Cup was Thought to Have Been Photoshopped, But it's a Real and An Amazing Shot

This Tiger Woods photo, taken by Mail on Sunday photographer Mark Pain, captures the exact moment when Tiger's golf ball was heading straight towards the camera.

Tiger and partner Steve Stricker, was attempting to chip his third shot on the final hole on Saturday, when he made a mistake and hit it straight towards Mark Pain.

The golf ball did hit Pain's camera, then his chest and then landed on the ground. Woods was angry and gave Pain a frustrated look that can be seen in the second photo. Neither Woods nor Stricker complained about Pain's placement.

The Americans accepted that the ball had hit the intrepid photographer only because Tiger's effort, from rain-soaked rough, had been so badly struck.

But it did enable Pain to pull off a much better shot than Woods had made - and nothing could stop Tiger and Stricker from completing a decisive victory over their European opponents.

Many sports bloggers have been pointing out that not only is this an amazing shot, the guy on the right-hand side of the photo with the cigar in his mouth, just makes this photo more awesome. He has already become the latest Internet meme and the subject of hundreds of photoshops.

Are you seriously that dumb, or are you a disgruntled hack that's upset you can't take a decent photo?
