The highly anticipated Tiger Woods Press Conference on the eve of the Masters Golf Tournament 2010 saw Tiger Woods deal with the first real media test since his sex scandal broke. It was the increasingly contrite Tiger Woods confirming that his wife and children would not be at the Master's Golf Tournament.

"Elin is not coming this week" Tiger said in curt reply to a question about whether his family was supporting him during his return to the Masters.

But The Tiger Woods Press Conference opened with Tiger delivering a few remarks about the practice round he just had.

"What a great day today, coming into today I didn't know what to expect, the galleries were just incredible...it blew me away it really did..it touched my heart pretty good," Tiger said.

Woods went on to pay a long overdue thanks to his fellow golf players.

"After today I hope the players can be left alone to focus on the Masters. I apologize to all of them to endure what they have had to endure over the last few months." Tiger said.

Tiger was also asked about Dr. Anthony Galea - a doctor who is known for prescribing steroids including HGH. Tiger said he said a type of Plasma therapy to help rehabilitate a torn ACL and a torn Achilles Tendon.

There were moments where it became clear what the impact the scandal had on Woods and his family.

"Because of the time frame of it I missed my son's first birthday and that hurts, that hurts a lot...I missed his first birthday and that was very hard that day." Tiger Woods said.

In reply to a questions about his sponsors, Tiger said, "Hopefully, I can prove to the other companies going forward that I am a worthy investment."

Tiger said he did not think of rehabilitation until the scandal broke saying he was "not in the frame of mind to try to stop my behavior before being caught."

In the end perhaps Tiger Woods the below quote from his press conference may well be the best way for Tiger Woods to move forward as he pursues another Master's Title.

"It is not about championships it is about how you live your life."
