Because Tiger Woods doesn't have enough scandals to deal with, the golfer is now linked to a possible scandal involving steroids. Dr. Anthony Galea, a doctor who has treated several high profile athletes including Tiger Woods, is being investigated by Canadian and US authorities for allegedly providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs.

Other athletes with ties to Dr. Anthony Galea include sprinter Donovan Bailey, figure skater Patrick Chan, U.S. swimmer Dana Torres and NFL players Chris Simms and Javon Walker.

Dr. Anthony Galea has worked with athletes to help them recover from injuries. Woods was referred to Dr. Anthony Galea after his 2008 knee surgery.

Galea was arrested by Canadian authorities on October 15.  Anthony Galea was found with human growth hormone and Actovegin while crossing the US-Canada border back in September.

So what is Actovegin? Here is info on Actovegin and its use.

Human growth hormone is legal in Canada and Dr. Galea insists that he has never given HGH to athletes. He does admit, however, to using human growth hormones on himself.

The lawyer for Dr. Anthony Galea believes the entire scandal surrounding Dr. Anthony Galea is overblown.

Dr. Galea and his lawyer say his innovative treatments do not break any laws or violate antidoping rules in sport. “We’re confident that an investigation of Dr. Galea will lead to his total vindication,” said Brian H. Greenspan, Dr. Galea’s criminal-defense lawyer. “Dr. Galea was never engaged in any wrongdoing or any impropriety. Not only does he have a reputation that is impeccable, he is a person at the very top of his profession.”

Dr. Galea has developed a reputation among elite athletes for accelerating recovery after surgery or for helping them avoid surgery altogether by using a blood-spinning technique known as platelet-rich plasma therapy, as well as other pioneering procedures, on knees, elbows and Achilles’ tendons.

It is important to note that Tiger Woods is not part of the Dr. Anthony Galea investigation and that there is no mention that Dr. Galea gave Tiger Woods performance-enhancing drugs.

Let's hope it keeps this way!

Liquid wienerschnitzl. This shameless bum masquearding as an MD like Kevorkian Morgenthaler Mengele is using untested useless harmful quackery on idiotic and ignorant athletes who demand instant remedy for their folly or the moronic violence of their sport. He is using blood doping except it is not RBCs but platelets that he concentrates. Then calf serum. Injecting these like the Mexican quacks who offer miracle cures to incurable cancer cases. It is not true that HGH is harmless au contraire it may cause or promote cancer and diabetes among other maladies. Not to speak of autoimmune diseases. I bet the bum is an ignoramus absolutely ignorant of any immunology cellular biology apoptosis interleukins receptors immuneglobulins  hormone DNA RNA mitochondrial nuclear metabolism and function cellular biology etc. He dosesnt know what the hell he is doing which is why it is so dangerous and to be condemned and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Unscientific crap. As is shown by his lying and idiotic drivel that he is using homeopathic medicine. Garbage, this is the very opposite of homeopathy though it is similar in that it is completely ineffective useless unscientific rot. One I suppose should be grateful that he doesnt use aborted embryos or tissues from people murdered just for the purpose as is rumoured in other lands. This is sinister and murky business using animal and human body parts like some psychopathic Jack the Ripper. Sick and evil. Woodoo witchcraft and homeopathy what a delightful mixture. Liquid wienershnitzl and human blood products and hormones. Spiffy. If you look up the calf serum product you will find that they spend a lot of time excusing themselves and insisting that these calves are clean ie they do not suffer from BSE bovine spongiform encephalopathy ie mad cow disease. Doth they protest too much? Hmmm. Didnt we hear Tiger go moooo?
