NBA referee Tim Donaghy, who spent more than a year in jail for conspiracy to engage in wire fraud and transmitting betting information through interstate commerce, is continuing to be a thorn in the side of the NBA. A proposed Tim Donaghy book, which was supposed to be published by Random House, has been leaked online to the popular sports blog Deadspin.

In the Tim Donaghy book, "Blowing the Whistle: The Culture of Fraud in the NBA," the disgraced ref accuses his former colleagues of unprofessional behavior during game. The Tim Donaghy book even goes so far as to accuse ref Dick Bavetta of inappropriately influencing the outcomes of games on behalf of the NBA head office. Most notably, the Tim Donaghy singles out Bavetta's working during the 2002 Western Conference Finals between the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers. Many bloggers and basketball fans have long viewed the Kings-Lakers series as suspect.

The book's publishers have canceled the release of the book. The NBA has said they will investigate the allegations made in the new Tim Donaghy book.

Here are excerpts from the Tim Donaghy book via Deadspin.
