TJ Lavin BMX Crash During Dew Tour Championship: Host of MTV's Challenge In Medically Induced Coma (video)

T.J. Lavin has suffered serious injury during the Dew Tour Championship in Las Vegas on Thursday.

T.J. Lavin, who host's The Challenge on MTV was attempting to execute a Nac Nac combination when he failed to get his feet back on the pedals and crashed his BMX.

The 33-year-old Las Vegas native was admitted to the trauma center of the University Medical Center in Las Vegas on Thursday night, and according to a hospital spokesperson, is currently in critical condition as of Friday morning. No further details were given by the hospital.

T.J. Lavin, a veteran of the BMX tour, picked up a silver medal and two gold medals at the X Games in 1996, 1997, and 1999.
