6 Nations Rugby is well underway and today Ireland pushed their way to the top of the pool with a 38-9 win over the Italians. Italy took the lead early as fly-half Luke Mclean scored making it 6-0. Later on in the half Ireland took control and by half time the score was 14-9 for Ireland. After early penalities from Italy in the second half and some late tries for Ireland the game inevitably went to Ireland with a final score of 38-9.

We watched the Italy Ireland match on the tv and this came up at the end of the game. Being Scottish, I was disappointed with Scotlands position in the table but we are always optimistic. I took this for Irish friends to gloat over.
