Blink and you might have missed it. At UFC 102, the highly-anticipated Todd Duffee vs Tim Hague fight lasted just seven seconds as Duffee knocked out Hague in the quickest fight in UFC history.
The knockout made for an impressive debut for Duffee, who competed in his first UFC fight. The Todd Duffee vs Tim Hague fight started with Duffee quickly flooring Hague with a jab. Duffee pounced on Hague and proceeded to get in eight more shots in five seconds. After a particularly vicious left, referee Mario Yamasaki ended the fight.
The previous record for fastest knockout was eight seconds was set by James Irvin, who knocked out Houston Alexander at Ultimate Fight Night 13. Don Fyre also took eight seconds to defeat Thomas Ramirez at UFC 8.
