Penn State Bans Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline' from Nittany Lions Games

Aside from reshuffling the coaching staff, Penn State is making further changes as the new college football season gets underway. No longer will Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" be played at the stadium when the Nittany Lions are playing.

Singing "Sweet Caroline" is a Penn State tradition, but apparently the lyrics of "Sweet Caroline" have become much more controversial after the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

Specifically, the lyrics "Hands, touchin' hands, reachin' out, touching me touching you" are a bit too on-the-nose these days at Penn State.

This is also the first year in which Penn State players will have their names on their uniforms.
