Stage 19 of the Tour de France 2011 Is Taking Place in the Alpe d'Huez

First the Pyrenees, then the French Alps. Each year, riders in the Tour de France must face Alpe d'Huez, a brutal 10% grade.

Stage 19 of the Tour de France on July 22, 2011, could help set up a dramatic final weekend. While the stage is not yet over, it looks like riders Andy and Frank Schleck leading Australian Cadel Evans. Alberto Contador has also attacked throughout Stage 19.

Pierre Rolland won stage 19 of the Tour de France. Samuel Sanchez of the Euskaltel-Euskadi team came second with Alberto Contador third.

Andy Schleck takes over the yellow jeresey. Just 57 seconds will separate Schleck from Australia's Cadel Evans.
