Sad news from the world of boxing. Indonesian boxer Tubagus Sakti suffered a fatal brain haemorrhage after losing a fight to Ical Tobida in a bout for the vacant KTPI junior flyweight title at the TVRI studio in Jakarta .

Sakti, 17, lost on a eighth-round TKO and quickly suffered convulsions. He was rushed to hospital where he later died. Prior to the TKO, Sakti appeared to "throw in the tower" by raising his hands in surrender. The referee let the fight continue, however, allowing Ical to get in several head shots before ending the fight.

Sakti managed to make it back to his corner before suffering convulsions.
Not surprisingly, there is plenty of controversy following the death of Tubagus Sakti.
