The  28th Annual Medtronic Twin Cities marathon took place today in Minnaepolis and St. Paul. The TC Marathon was won by Jason Hartmann of Massachusetss, who finished with a time of 2 hours, 12 minutes and 16 seconds. The top female runner was New York's Isla Paulson who completed the 26.2-mile Twin Cities Marathon route in two hours, 31 minutes and 39 seconds.

Second place in the women's category went to 45-year-old Colleen De Reuck. The four-time Olympian ended with a time of 2:32:37. 

The Twin Cities Marathon route took runners downtown Minneapolis to the finish line at the state Capitol in St. Paul.
