Things got a little testy between Kansas basketball player Tyshawn Taylor and the KU football team. Tyshawn Taylor dislocated his thumb after getting into a fight involving several members of the KU basketball and football teams.

The Tyshawn Taylor fight took place in front of KU's student union building. KU basketball and football players reportedly got into an argument as they were entering and exiting the student union building.

Tyshawn Taylor reportedly was the only player injured. He is expected to be out of commission for no more than four weeks. It remains unclear as to whether Taylor or anyone will be disciplined for the KU brawl. As for Taylor, he wrote about the brawl and his injury on his Facebook page.

“I got a dislocated finger ..from throwing a punch ..so don’t let the news paper gas yall up aite,” Taylor wrote

Hours before the KU brawl, Taylor wrote messages indicating that there was a beef between KU's teams.

“keep my name out ya’ mouth for you get smacked in it,” he wrote at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday, and 30 minutes later he posted, “never get outta character .. I’m always a G about it.” About 4 p.m., Taylor posted, “(racial slur)s be muggin me ..you know I’m mugging back.”
