UCLA-Arizona Fight Video Oct 20 2011: Streaker Starts Brawl
A Fake Referee-Slash-Streaker May Have Started a Huge Bench-Clearing Brawl at the UCLA-Arizona Game on October 20, 2011. Here is the UCLA-Arizona Fight Video. Wait, What?
We've all seen streakers at sporting events and we've all seen bench-clearing brawls. Put the two together and you have pure YouTube goodness.
During the UCLA-Arizona game on Thursday, October 21, 2011, a fan ran onto the field dressed as a referee. You can't really see it in the UCLA-Arizona fight video, but the dude in the referee's uniform appeared to have been "losing gear" according to the TV crew.
During the delay caused by the streaker, players from UCLA and Arizona started jawing at each other and a shoving match ensued. The whole thing escalated into a full-on brawl with both sidelines spilling onto the field.
UCLA's Taylor Embree and Shaquille Richardson of Arizona were ejected from the game.
