The UConn mens' basketball team will have their parade after all. The fate of the UConn basketball parade was in doubt as the Hartford Business Improvement District said that they may be short of funds.

In turn, they asked for donations to help pay for the UConn parade. Eventually, it was announced that 19 sponsors stepped to help pay for the 2011 UConn parade to help celebrate the Huskies' 2011 NCAA Championship .

When is the 2011 UConn Men's Basketball Championship Parade?

The UConn parade will take place on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 3 pm in Hartford.

What is the 2011 UConn Parade Route?

The parade will go through the soldiers and sailors memorial arch in Bushnell Park and end at the state capital.
