UFC 98 took place last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The night featured a couple of major bouts including Matt Hughes vs. Matt Serra and Lyoto Machida vs. Rashad Evans.

Machida dominated Evans in UFC 98's main event, winning the light heavyweight title with a second-round knockout. The Dragon ended Evans impressive win streak, improving his own record to 15-0.

Krzystof Soszynski defeated Andre Gusmao by KO at 3:17 Round One.

Yoshiyuki Yoshida defeated Brandon Wolff by gullotine choke submission at 2:24 Round One.

George Roop defeated Dave Kaplan via split decision (30-27, 28-29, 30-27)
