The Black Stars are the only African team to progress this far in the tournament, and they're in fine form. South Africa fans have thrown their support (and their vuvuzelas) behind Ghana as they take on Uruguay. Make no mistake, Ghana is looking to make soccer history by becoming the first African nation to reach the World Cup semifinals.
Uruguay, though, is no easy mark, and is equally driven by its fan base, though most are a bit further away. Says coach Oscar Tabarez,
"Before we began this World Cup, we saw this great harmony among the players and I said to them, 'The people back home have aspirations, they have dreams and we have to deliver them'.
