US Figure Skating Championships 2011

The skater proceeded to go into a thorough explanation of a tweet that had received a few problems this week, one in which she made fun of a rule that does not allow competitors to take bottled water off the reception room.

Apparently, the joke did not make the Internet much more than a few people, and Nagasu makes every effort to try to remedy the situation.

“I was a bit annoyed they would not let me take on water, but it is environmentally friendly and I’m here to help the environment, too,” Nagasu said. “People are entitled event arena, and I was wrong. ”

Nagasu explanation is that social networking has become so much of figure skating in recent years, with many top skaters from around the world followed on Twitter and Facebook.
