The highlight of the first few days of the US Open was not a spectacular shot by a player, but a spectacular fall by a ball boy. During a first-round match between Andy Murray and Ernests Gublis, a ball boy did a face plant while trying to retrieve a loose ball.

The US Open ball boy was tracking down a ball and tried to jump over an sideline billboard, only to trip and fall face first. The ball boy popped right back up and went about his duties, but not before having the fall replayed on TV a few times.
