USA Ultimate & DaCast Join to Stream Club Championships

USA Ultimate, DaCast and NexGen Tours teamed up to broadcast the 2011 Club Championships. The Championships broadcast out on October 27th through October 30th. It was showcased on the USA Ultimate site and also over Facebook. On Facebook the content was free as long as the viewer liked the page. On the USA Ultimate site the broadcast was $1.99 a day or $4.99 for the whole event and was shown in high definition.

USA Ultimate hosted the event while NexGen Tours filmed. The feed was broadcast through DaCast's Streaming as a Service platform to allow for a worldwide audience. Over 100,000 viewers in total watched the Championship. 15,000 new fans liked the USA Ultimate webpage too. The Championship occurred in Florida.

USA Ultimate is dedicated to the sport of Ultimate Frisbee and organizes leagues and events. They are located in Boulder Colorado. Their original name was the Ultimate Players Association and they were founded in 1979. The name changed to USA Ultimate in 2010. They have various series including College and Youth. The Club allows for Open, Women and Masters divisions.
