Usain Bolt and the rest of the Jamaican team took the gold medal today in the 4x100 sprint meter finals t the World Championships in Berlin, with a time of 37.31 seconds. It was predicted to be an easy win for them as the United States team failed to qualify for the finals.
This was the third gold for Bolt, after winning the 200m sprint and the 100m sprint, in which he set two new world records, but failed to do so in the relay.
The quartet, with 100m and 200m world champion Bolt running the penultimate leg, timed a championship record of 37.31 seconds while Trinidad and Tobago took silver in a national record of 37.62sec and Great Britain the bronze in 38.02sec.
