Vancouver is preparing for a slew of Olympic marriage proposals on the most romantic day of the year, Valentine's Day.

Marriage proposals are popping up and love is in the air at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games

These Olympics have already inspired plenty of romantic moments, including three wedding proposals during the torch run.

Increased wedding proposals have become the norm during the Olympics. There were an estimated 9,000  Chinese couples married on opening day in Beijing Olympics.

The city of Vancouver has prepared for an increase in proposals and weddings. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in downtown Vancouver has announced it will be open extended hours during the 2010 Olympic Games.

What better time to give gold than when you're country wins some!
