Vancouver 2010 Women's Halfpipe: Live Twitter Coverage
Today we see the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Women's Halfpipe competition, and we'll be bringing you live Twitter coverage via scan. US teammates Kelly Clark and Gretchen Bleiler are legit candidates for Gold, and, though she had a tough year, Hannah Teter is still a force to be reckoned with. Elena Hight rounds out the US team.
Australian Torah Bright may be bringing the Double Cork into the women's competition for the first time. Torah Bright is joined by teammate Holly Crawford.
Canadians will be cheering for Sarah Conrad, Palmer Taylor and Mercedes Nicoll. Kiwis have their eyes on Kendall Brown, Juliane Bray and Rebecca Sinclair.
The qualifying round kicks off at 12:30pm PST/3:30pm EST.
Semifinals are scheduled for 4pm PST/7pm EST, with the finals set to begin at 6pm PST/9pm EST.
