Vancouver 2010 is just around the corner.. Roughly 11 months left and yet the fireworks from stupid Gang Members are already starting... I dont thinks its the best way to tell people that would come here how our government reacts.. If they dont do something about it now.. Financial Crunch + Violence = Dismal display of 2010.

The street gangs, like any businessmen, are cut-throat in their pursuit of profit. They just play by "criminal" rules. In an attempt to reduce crime, I would like to see a dramatic change to the environment of incarceration. These sociopaths need to serve their time in a work-camp jail. No more TV, no more cafeteria food, no more drugs, no basketball courts, no more visitors. Prisoners would be placed outdoors, all weather, in tents, cooking their own food, washing their own dishes and clothes. Daily physical labour would be required from most as they build their community from the ground up. Each prisoner would also be required to provide full restitution to their victims. Whether in jail or out, they would continue paying off a court-set dollar value to survivors of their crimes.
